NICK If you are new, my friendly advise is better stick to cash segment only. Nifty futures and options or even stock futures and options are not suitable for newbies. Stock market is a place where fortunes are made. But it destroys fortunes faster. If at all you want to buy Nifty then buy NIFTYBEES.

1. Fortunes got destroyed in market when one does not have any technical knowledge and discipline.
2. Every single expert was a newbie once. 3. Watch how seniors trade nifty during the market hour. They do a lot hard work to post the levels sometimes also with the reasons. 4. Read few thread of saints pivot method which is the most simple yet promising 5. Start trading mini nifty only when you have confidence in your ability. Do not try to do paper trade.because I think trading with real money will bring out emotions of greed and fear and you will be able to justify your abilities ! 6. You have to pay the fees If you want to learn so don't be sad or unmotivated if few trades bring out losses. start all over do some research on your trades and come back with a bang ! 7. Nick, You do have vast knowledge of technical patterns. Thanks, Ankit. EDIT: Please do not hesitate to ask if in any doubt . Last edited by Ank!t007; 12th June 2008 at 01:07 AM. |

See Vinod Nadoda's Nifty Futures mechanical trading thread. Read the whole thread -- you should get a fair idea.
