L&T bonus shares and record date
Hello everyone,
I am interested in investing some money in L&T script. Does anyone here know what is the record date for the bonus shares to be issued. If i buy the shares before the record date will that be beneficial to me. I am a retail investor and very knew to the stock market. Waiting for replies from the experts. Thank in advance aapmk.

hi
need some help, had bought 10 shares of L&T 2nd week of MAY 08 (DELIVERY) had them in my demat account at around 2900 after which have not been able to sell. Some time back bonus of 1:1 was announced. But now i donot know if i am eligible for the bonus , if i am then how long do i have to hold them or can i sell now or what. Can experts recommend some thing i am already obliged Edit/Delete Message

I am not an expert but can still recommend you one thing  that if you bought L&T with a long term view of 2-3 years, then you should not worry about these very short term fluctuations. And if you entered with a short term view, then (why L&T?) follow your stop loss. In my view, L&T is an excellent scrip if you can hold it for some time. experts in this forum have already written about it.
