yes legal. I had appeared for Interview as a trader for Bit coin company name Zebpay. They have an app where u can buy and sell Bitcoin. Min. invest Rs.500/-. In india, bitcoin trading is mostly done for hawala/money laundering. I said this in my interview and after that they have not selected me.
Is this legal. Yes.
How income is going to tax: No Idea.
Does normal guy should get into this: Stay away as far as possible.

Infact recently I read that Government has asked for suggestions from various groups of people involved in any way to Bitcoin to give their opinions to layout legal aspects related to Bitcoin.
