sir I voted becoming a mentor and becoming a sub broker.
I know someone in my city who does so.He runs a small institute from home.He charges only 7k per student.Anyhow he manage to get 20 students per month. He teaches TA.
Those students open a/c with him as he gives 1-2 months live support. He taught 500+ students so far and he has 2000 clients. He trades too in wife's a/c.
Now his wife also take classes for female traders-housewife,mba graduates.

Sir i bet,They are making much more than any consistent trader in this forum
By trading or by taking classes?

Actually those who run coaching classes or take tutions on science. They generally are not an expert in applied science. But they can help us reach a certain point. Like to reach my house the flight takes me from lets say coimbatore airport to mumbai airport. Beyond that I cant depend on the flight to take me home. I ve to figure out a cab or something else. But they still have a place in the system.

Some of the softwares made here like RTD and so on have helped the guys here like anything. Whether a person makes money or not the RTD software has helped a person to reach towards that goal and the person making it is elgible to charge?

There are hundreds of people who made similar software and charge money . Josh and TracerBullet &Co. are the real philanthropist.

Same way there are so many ppl teaching trading and charging money , neither they are multi millionaires nor their students. :D

Very few gems are there atleast in this forum who teach for free.:rofl:

Just to add when I last met Josh he took a job in software industry. Now not sure if he is completely out of trading or not. A corporate job sucks everything out of a person and leaves him with no time. Was just contemplating what if trader can give some service and get some income going on to fund his journey in trading

ideally a successful trader will invest their profit..

but not everybody is super successful there can be bad phases where u can have losses for months so some backup income stream is good idea.

so may be do some business on the side but business will take a lot of time to setup and make steady income.
other best option is to do some passive business like invest in rental properties but require lot of money.

Many get into full time trading and then again get back to full time jobs. Lance Begg(YTC ) had to do that. He got back into working with US army after the losses he took and then came back again with some savings. It helps if you are working in the seas there you have long leaves. Get back to work if needed. Looks like this is also part of journey where one may have to go back to working if needed.

at sea the leave is only 15 days for every month put out at sea and most times they call you back before your leave expires and also during leave one has to attend many mandatory courses and get certified to continue sailing.
