1. Stock Futures will replicate Cash market (I assume EQ)
You must be familiar with EQ beta already.
Lots sized sometimes are fairly large and this you need to really understand first.

2.Index Futures will mimic the Index.
You must be familiar with Index beta already.
Lot size in terms of SL regarding AV(Annualized Volatility) is decent.
I'd say the best.
Trade NF for lower RR, BNF for higher RR & forget other Indices.

3. You should learn thoroughly about Options before even paper trading.

Brown Sugar - Just wondering when it will be available to trade on MCX. Never mind. Just one note: Cash and Derv' are different ball game. First get some practicing before you look for fast cash.

instead of trading stock futures,Banknifty is always a good deal,is the meaning I derived from travi sirs post.

STOCK OPTIONS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! HIGHEST RISK... HIGHEST POTENTIAL FOR LOSS...

Imho... nothing beats the LOSSES given by Stock Options...............

.....................................only if you DON'T know what you're doing................

all the best!

Going for the most volatile index head on your first stint on F&O - No worries, I did same. Go on. All the Best. Loss or win - lesson will be learnt.

They all give good return to operators
ye sab operatos ke hathiyar hain
as operators suck money from retail traders
so they say " bhaiyya ye wala loge ya wo wala "
koi sa bhi lo chuna lagna hi hai , you can ask tuna

PS : as you say you are good at cash market so soon you shall learn these also :thumb:

ok xitij bhai , how long you are trading in cash market ?
bahut Rokra kamaya kya udhar ?
7yrs se cash market me hu Sirji, pichhle 4yrs se profit me hu.
I heard that lot of money can be made from Option trading,so I am searching here and there.I can trade only naked options, short selling ya holding nahi kar sakta.I dont understand option greeks and making pairs and all that.
Bohot tough hai.
