Future versus Option trading

I am here to learn option trading.But my query is what is the benefit of trading future over option?
is options trading really that profitable?
why many trader choose option trading?

because options require low capital so most of the traders trade in them and lose money quickly.
futures require bigger capital so in it traders lose capital slowly than options :D

haha funny truth.
But short selling requires equivalent margin as to future,so its better to short future only instead of short-selling option.Am I right sirji?
