BTST Profit Target and Delivery Handling Charges

Hi,

Anybody consider what is the minimum profit target for BTST/ Swing trades?

Sharekhan's ledger statement shows delivery handling charges of 2.5% per trade. That is in addition to the other charges which come to nearly 0.8% plus the interest (if there is insufficient margin). Thus the break even point would have to be 2.5+0.8 =3.3% or more.

Somebody please enlighten me.

Hi Charles, thanks for the reply. So this is irrespective of the number of shares, I guess.

I don't contact RM because he's always trying to hard sell some course (Ignite), mutual fund or other.

Ya... any number of shares for a scrip per day.
I can understand... I nvr spoke to my RM, he used to try sell so many things, moreover me an Introvert, So i changed to a discount broker now.

This is what their site says abt DHC
Delivery Handling Charges (DHC) would be levied on each sale transaction in case if the value of brokerage levied is less than Rs 16/-. ... In case where the brokerage levied as a percentage on the value of the shares/ contract is less than the minimum brokerage payable per share/contract
So it should not be much.. U can verify it
