Dear All,
Is it possible for ordinary/illiterate person makes money more successfully with system proven with 70/30 winning ratio with fixed numer of trades.
This question arises in my mind as we always here intellectual terms , psychological pitfall are enemy of traders like loss aversion, changing stop loss, revenge trading etc. Just as curiosity what will be the probability of success considering person is a aware of what is at stake and he will follow by or sell signals as per system.
Thanks

Yes, They can.. I knew one person who is making consistency money
Using EMA cross with some price action in Heikin-Ashi Candle but
he is having good qualities which irrespective of literacy like patience,
Discipline and MM.

As TJ said, Proven Setup is valid only if it is worked in Forward market.
Now, I am curious why did you ask this question :) :D ?

Reason to ask this question was I came across reading articles/books by intellectuals/ mathametical genius/ human behavioural/renowned psychiatrist regarding the human traits for not being consistan for long periods.
Just thought raised in my mind if illiterate person who un aware of all this issue and don't get in to mind crippling "analysis " mode. Will this make any difference. As there is old saying 'Analysis make paralysis '

I will say it will depend on luck of the person.

It is said
"yadi kismat achchhi ho to mitti bhi sona ban jata hai, aur yadi kismat kharab ho to sona bhi mitti ho jata hai.'

Our Bollywood is full of such examples, so why not an ordinary illiterate trader can make money, if his luck is that good.

The latest example of this saying,
you must have read about this fisherman

'World's largest' clam pearl found in Philippines, worth $130 million
The world's largest natural clam pearl may have been uncovered in the Philippines.

The pearl, weighing 34 kilograms, was found by a fisherman 10 years ago in the sea off the coast of Palawan Island.

Unaware of its value, he had been keeping it under his bed as a good luck charm since then.

Anyone with average intelligence can be a profitable trader. One does not need to be a mathematics or statistics expert to be a profitable trader.

Ability to accept our mistakes ,observation ,learning, and risk control are more important than intelligence or qualifications. One needs to have a trading method which gives him an edge and then trade that system to enable the edge to manifest in trading profits.

Luck plays no part in trading success in long run.In short run whether a particular trade is a winner or a loser could be a matter of luck or chance.
