How many guys replying here are from Delhi ??

Ask the Delhites who know about the changes that have occurred. The aam roadside hawker will tell you that the police extortion has stopped completely, that the corruption is down severely.

Yes, if Tomar is found guilty, he should face the maximum penalty, but it should not deter the path taken by AAP. Even if there are others who tread on that path, it is for a better society.

So let's keep in mind the ideals that AAP was founded with, and try to inculcate it everywhere else.

Only reason aap was re elected was the drastic reduction in pitty corruption in delhi. You guys have no idea how bad is the situation of corruption in northern parts of our country as compared to south or west say a gujarat and Maha.

Now all the vested interests are trying to keep this gravy train running.

If you didnt know Maharastra was once the most corrupt state in the country. Not sure if it still manages to keep the record today.

In the north UP takes the cake away. Akilesh is all set to drive that land to stone age. Wonder what people of UP eat & drink that they elected a government like this. Such a pity.

I am from up, here people vote for caste not the party, and Muslims vote for those who can defeat bjp. So how can you expect good governance. Second reason is up is too big to be governed properly.
I hope there are many sensible people like you who can someday bring about change in UP. Uttarakhand which was once a part of UP is so much better. Im not sure about big ticket scams in uttarakhand other than environmental violations to set up hydro power plants. As a tourist there I never faced any issues while dealing with government authorities. The government employees at most tourism offices were considerably professional and helpful. Never had to pay any bribe to get trekking permits etc. The police were also pretty helpful and polite. Not like some police guys who are unapproachable. Maybe people in uttarakhand are a bit more god fearing (being Dev bhoomi)than people in UP.

Maybe Ravi Bhai can paint the real picture about Uttarakhand.

PS: The people in Uttarakhand specially those living in the mountain areas are extremely nice people. Very hospitable, kind and helpful.
