thanks siva for the response.
i share with the concern expressed by senthil, as far as the present political situation is concerned. but i feel today we need, not one Kalam , but many. Kalam could go back to reserch and contribute, 'InshaAlla', for the many many years to come. we, today, even after more than 50 years of independance, still rely on research from external sources and the in-house reseach establishments needs many scientists, which need is to be filled only from the next generation. during his tenure as president, he made an impact on the minds of many school / college going childdren and has motivated many young scientists and this will motivate them and make more Kalams, which India needs most today. his continuance at the office of the President for at least another term, will make his dream a reality. murthymsr |
