Ruling party comes into power by votes of public, but who decides who the opposition party must be?

You better let us know about the most greatest election in Indian history which happens just recently. What do you think of it and who should win if the current government doesn't suit you well for many many things to be done in order for that matter.

Does anybody know when the next cycle of election happens in every state? Does anybody have any schedule or something like that? Cause while somebody may win election, but there are still people who do not use this election anyway.
