Hi Friends,

Do you know any good mobile app for charting purpose? Most of them out there in play store are for spot and not for futures. I need it for index future.

I'm currently using NSE NOW on mobile and it gives intraday chart. It will be helpful if we get chart in different time frames.

Please let me know if you are using any such app..

Thanks in advance!:thumb:

You can use the app by investing.com but it is delayed

The best app currently for technical analysis is by NetDania but it uses the spot and is also delayed.

investing.com has the Nifty futures quote from SGX, Japan and also from NSE. There is a delay though. It also has a RT-CFD quote for real time.

Netdania covers the NSE stocks in addition to most NSE indices including Nifty, Bank Nifty but they have a 5 minute delay.

Netdania also has indian gold price (but it is in ounces instead of the 10 grams that we are used to). As you know, it also has all the INR quotes in real time.

Did you trade on such tools in the past? Nothing personal, just wondering as I never did trade on such tools on any mobile. (Old fashion I am :D)

If you want index charts, then you can look at 'et markets' app

Yes. ET market app is very good. I'm using web based version now. Unfortunately it doesn't work properly with my version of Android. Already in touch with Mr.Prashant from ET.

Hi Prashant

Mobile app shows charts but if you zoom in and out it gets messed up.
May be it's issue with my Android 4.2...im not sure.

If you want see the issue I can post a pic later..

No, I use my mobile phone mostly to keep track of the markets.

I don't use the mobile trading app unless there is an emergency and I don't have a laptop with me.

99% of my trades are with my laptop through the brokers trading application.

Well, sometimes when i don't have access to my computer, I resort to tracking my positions through the mobile app..

But to tell the truth, I use the app mostly when I have a trade in mind, but when I won't be able to sit in front of the computer for the right time to jump into it.. I know it's better to stay away from such trades but the traders itch never goes away I guess :)
