ICICI is not a bad bank at all..
bad stories might be because of their large customer base but they are good at service if you report the problem to helpdesk and then do a proper follow up.....

but in my view HDFC is best in customer support

in my personal use & experience, HDFC comes first as a bank with poorest service quality, icici comes second in the list .

now, i feel UTI as the best bank and having quality SERVICE . there online netbanking facility named i-connect is a state of the art service. they are best just outside the govt. banks, and having some charecters of both types.

Thumbs up Re: saving bank accounts

hi there!

if u go for bank almost all are same!

I prefer ICICI, because there counter is open till 7 pm and u will find this very useful. most of the bank close at 3pm (UTI)

even if u have icici credit card u can pay on due date at 6pm or so. u won't be charged.(u can pay cash)

if u take sbi credit card u have to pay by cheque! even if u pay a day before due date, u will be charged late payment etc.,

analyse and decide u r self!
some tips!

i)never enable auto debit feature! (USE THE FEATURE IF U NEED BADLY)

ii)don't log on to internet banking account other than u r computer!

iii)if tele-executive offers anything (tell him to make that on paper).

for e.g RATE OF INTERES ON PERSONAL LOANS, NO CHARGE OFFERS,

cheers ,
narayan.
