Who Is John Galt?

Some time during the (so called) Civilization Process that, Being Human started losing its sheen and we started dividing ourselves through boundaries, barriers, barricades etc. We were divided on the lines of geographical boundaries, ethnicity, race, language, religion n caste.
God (either in letter or in spirit) made us ONE and we found so many ways to BE NOT.

Will any kid on the road understand or care for all this? For them all kids are Didi or Bhaiyya n all grown up's are maama or maami. Why do we lose this innocence when we grow up? Do we actually grow up from Childhood or is it the Reverse process?

As all the rivers forget that they have different names when they merge in the ocean, cn't we also forget that we are different in the Ocean of Being Human?

When we misuse, abuse, manipulate Humanity on the grounds of caste, religion, nationality, When every country's defense budget is more than the health, education and all the other budgets put together, on what grounds that we call ourselves Civilized?

How are we Civilized, when we can vote and elect somebody to Parliament, but forfeit the RIGHT to call them back if they dn't perform? Are we not fooling ourselves?

How are we Civilized when we need a reason to meet our family n friends?

Are we ready to be, being human first?

Are we ready for Galt's Gulch? Can we find Galt's Gulch?

Thanks for this this write up GG. Brought back to my mind when I started reading Ayn Rand. First, Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead, Objectivism.... As a college going student, with varied pursuit, the philosophy of Ayn Rand helped me to form a view of the world and life. Later, some of the experience of living made me to think differently from the pure theory espoused, but it nevertheless formed the core of my thinking. Your writing brought back fond memories. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

After Chaanakya (Kautilya), Rand has profoundly influenced all my life, decisions, Economic thought process and my Whole Being ...
I read Rand, when I was in my 9th ... After I finished Atlas Shrugged ... My brain, my heart and my whole System crashed ... Could not eat ... sleep for almost a fortnight ...
When my System, Rebooted after the fortnight ... I Found ALL NEW ME ...
My whole thought process, feelings, life, attitude, ethics, values ... every thing changed forever ....

"I swear on My Life and The Love of it that I will not Live for the sake of another Man ... Nor do I expect another Man to Live for the sake of Mine" ... This One Statement (if it were one) changed so much in my "I" ....

It seems a Galt's Gulch is already happening. Even the biggest governments with tons of military budget seem to have no way to touch Glat's Gulch.

In this place no one can censor, take away one's wealth and transactions are 100% voluntary. Any one can see the place, come to the place, leave the place but no one can touch/destroy/censor/control the place.

The reason is : Location of this place is virtual and its called blockchain. Bitcoin blockchain is one concrete example for this p2p blockchain technology.

As if (un)civilization had not done enough harm, we inflicted, by far the worst Weapon Of Mass Self Destruction - Industrialization, on ourselves.

As if we have not divided ourselves enough, we divided ourselves on wealth grounds. If individuals were divided on individual wealth, countries were divided on the lines of Under developed, developing and developed countries.
Are we here to complement each other so that all of us can LIVE or are we here to Compete with each other so that we can destroy every body's very Existence?

What are the parameters, process of being developed, developing n under developed?

Do you call developed, when more number of 60+ people die in old age homes than with their family and when 2 month young infants are fed bottled milk than the breast feed?

Do you call developed, when you keep spending more money to find more weapons to kill more humans?

Do you call developed, when a company (MNC, at that), Shamelessly, tests its Infant food directly on Infants in South Africa, thereby killing millions of infants? Gynecologists here will know which company i'm talking about.

Do you call developed, when out of Greed (to control the Oil wells, to be precise), you attack another Sovereign land?

Do you call developed, when you tax a working guy to pay a non - working guy?

No doubt, we invented n produced lots of things. But how many have we invented on our own, without some inputs from Mother nature - soil, tree, water, oxygen, molecules etc? How many have we invented without -ve effects, on us and on nature?

What is the purpose of this Rat race and where all this is leading to?

This is a real story of a small time farmer in France. He grew very high quality vegetables in a small 10 hectare land and was very famous for the quality of his vegetables. Everybody's efforts to convince him to Go Big, to go Lateral, to increase his production had become futile. Farmer - Then?
D - You can start exporting

D - You can form an MNC
F - Then?
D - U can win lots of big time awards. People all over the world will recognize you.

F - How Long will all this take?
D - About 30 Years
F - What else do u think I"M NOW, if not HAPPY? Why do I waste 30 years to be same as "I'M NOW?"
