Exclamation Equity Market Analyst

Respected Friends,

I am a B.Com Student (2nd Year) I am planning to make a career in Capital Market. I even gave NCFM Financial Market Beginners Module to check whether I posses the skills and aptitude for Capital Market, Secured 90 Percentage but not satisfied. I would like to ask the englightened one's at Traderji to pls. suggest me on :
1.How could one become a Equity Market Analyst?
2. which are various other options available at Capital Market?
3.Is there anything like best qualification that is regarded essential to thrive in the Capital Market?

Thank You for your time and response.
Regards.

Sorry Deepanshu for missing the thread. You are very much ryt that NCFM is not of much help in becoming an Equity Analyst.

The preferred ways to become an equity analyst in the preferential order are as follows:

1. Do MBA(Finance) from a premier institute, it's the best and will help you go places.
2. Do the 1-year course started by ICFP (Bajaj Capital).
3. Became a trainee in a good Stock Broking/Equity Analysis firm or in a KPO working in these areas and in a few years you can hope to be an analyst.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
--Ashish

Thumbs up Re: Equity Market Analyst

But... will.... CFA be of any help.

I was thinking to do M.com (Accounts-Finance) after my B.com, as I do not see my chances of landing to any good or the best B.school, right now.

I might do 1-year course started by ICFP (Bajaj Capital) as suggested by you after my B.com side by side with
M.com.

My motive is not Job but knowledge.

Thank You very much Sir. You have been most helful.

Oops, I missed CFA. It should come after MBA at the second place. But don't do it from ICFAI.

About ICFP's course, it's a full time and hence doing it side-by-side will perhaps be a bit difficult. Further, I don't foresee M.Com. adding much value to you in terms of Market Demand. If you want to go in the field of Accounting, try ACCP for a better value addition.

BTW, all of the persons here are helpful. It's just that your post was unfortunately overlooked.

Best Regards,
--Ashish (Without any Sir)
