Instead of donation if it is called "Your Contribution" then it would be more appropriate. Secondly, payment options must be such that to inspire confidence otherwise people are apprehensive to use online payment options. May be tie up with some bank will help. Paypal is unfamiliar and is only in dollars(or so I think).People have to register there.
Once I had tried for donation and it had asked me to get registered with paypal.
If some hasslefree method is evolved members would be only happy to contribute.
