Are rags to riches stories about the Indian stock markets a myth?
How much is the maximum money you've personally known anyone to make in the Indian stock market last year? Of all the ppl I know the maximum anyone made was a friend of my Dad and he made 20 lakhs last year. Compared to the STORIES I know its not very much is it? The objective of this thread is to separate fact from fiction.

Unfortunately I don't know what his ROI was Agilent, but will try to find out.
My cousin works in the investment department of Dena Bank, he told me they've made 10 crores from the stock market this year ie from Jan 06, on one particular day they made 1 crore on an investment of 10 crores. Thats 10% in a single day most commendable I would say heh heh. It seems they have a list of 21 brokers and they mostly buy on broker recommendations, they also have an analyst who is an MBA in finance who simply assimilates and tabulates data for them, the final investment decision rests with the DGM of the concerned department. Other than broker recommendations its mostly a one man show. |
