Since this forum is an open forum we do have miscreants who come and post hoping to promote their website/services. We just have to take care of this by deleting the threads/posts manually.

If you leave your email exposed in the threads/posts then you are openly inviting the email/spam robots to spam yor mailbox.

Hey Traders, this poor guy -Telmo Pinto - aka t2you use a scam methods in the room. I received a spam email with an offer for his room for 1 week trial. I was suspicious but I visited it. He had a false member in the room claiming how he is good trader etc. But he is so feeble-minded he used the same IP for these false members. This free week trial ended -10 pts in this room. I saw only amateur who bought market several times when smart money sold it on Friday April 7. I can prove what I just said. All communication with him and his scam method is archived.

Never trust to these live chat/live alerts scammers or similar service. They are not able to live from trading they parasite on subscription only. Rickey Cheung, his guru is also a "well know company" for NFA in USA.

I warned you because I hate scammers and similar practice. TRADE YOUR OWN TRADES, do not pay subscription to liars.

Hi members

I follow simple ruleS like stop loss. Delete emails without opening them if they are from unknown sources or you are not expecting them.

Scan remaining mails before opening.

Do not expose your mailID .I had given MY ID here but I follow first two rules strictly.

Report all such unsolicited emails as junk mail . your mail provider or isp should be able to block them.

Keep one public mail ID for general purpose to be given to wherever asked for on the net but keep your business mail id restricted unless you are sure that it will not be misused.
Have good anti virus software with capability to scan incoming email and update your virus database regularly.

Your computer contains much more sesitive data than you actually know. they can be used to the detriment of you and others connected to you.

when upgrading either dont give your hard disk or use some utility to erase data(not simly delete).

Keep a back up as much as possible

hi all,

following three additional precautions may help prevent unscrupulous people getting your mail ID at the first place.

Please have another look at your user control panel settings set by you while initially signing up with traderji forum.

in the user control panel >> settings & options >> edit options,

1) ensure that the check box named "Allow vCard download" is not checked. if checked, this will enable others to download your email ID. there are some special mail grabber software for grabbing all the emails from any public domain.

2) also ensure that the check box titled "Receive Email from other members is not checked. ( however, leave the check box for receiving emails from traderji checked. :D )

3) please do not give your email ID in the posts you have made in the forum. if you have already given, please check-up if you can edit and remove them.

hastle-free trading!
