BJP has done a GREAT sin ...

...by dividing states into smaller states.Everybody commits mistake ,
be it small or big.But projecting a 'mistake' as CORRECT is sin.Small is
detrimental to 'progress'.

You are correct columbus. In my younger days i somewhat liking BJP at national level and TDP at state level. But now almost all politicians and parties are crooked except one or two politicians. I hate these bloody political parties and their ideologies and how they are seeing people. Simply vote banks.

Once upon a time Andhra Pradesh was part of Madras Residency. Similarly Gujrat was part of Bombay state. Punjab was divided into Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and if you see today all these states have florished. The problem is that in a bigger state when members from a particular community or region becomes more powerful other regions start feeling neglected. Andhra Pradesh dominance of reddys in Cong Regime and Kammas in telugu desam resulted in marginalisation of Telengana. In Maharashtra they have Assembly in Nagpur and one session of Assembly is conducted there. same thing is repeated in Jammu kashmir. In UP eastern UP is getting marginallised. In Eamcet all the three regions (Tellengana, Rayalseema and coastal)are considered separate giving 85% of sheets to local. Thank God it is still regional may be after some time they may start again language wise. Political party have to be blamed but local leaders are the real culprit.

Interest is not welfare of common people but selfish ends. Every one wants become great leaders. Thinks indispensable. Let there be one state and alround developments. Just imagine, how much is spent on our netajis.

I am from uttarakhand and development in around 10 years as a new state is more than last 50 years as part of UP.......I think INDIA needs to be divided in atleast 35 - 40 states instead of present 28.........

y the power should be centralize ? (either at central or state level) & why it should not be given to district or block.............?

power with responsibility, with flexibility of spending the funds in a particular district or block, which has been received by that district/block as taxes without contributing a single paise to state or center ?

as bigger is administration structure, greater is courroption & administrative sins.
