Earning in stock markets is very hard comparing to find a new job. I think you dont know what is the difference between investing and trading? if you want to earn 10,000/- to 15,000/- per month, your capital is not sufficient as a way of investing. For trading you should have experience in markets at least 3 to 4 years. You should have minimum knowledge in market dynamics, fundamental and technical analysis. Such kind of knowledge may come after study of markets long time. My sincere advice is not to come in stock market in this position.you may loose the amount in your hand. Better to try a job suitable for your skills and in liesure hours try to learn about the markets. After considerable time you spent/understand the markets, then only try to enter the market with the money you can bearable to loose in the worst case scenario.

Hi Jagan,

Regret to hear about your loss of job. But friend, sincerely advising that please don't enter stock market with just 50K, there is a high probability of losing this also. I know, this would have surely disappointed you a lot bcoz you must have pinned big hopes on getting some +ve replies and must be depending a lot on earning your livelihood thru stocks. But practically, not possible immediately. Please start searching for a job and then once you're in some kind of job and have another steady source of income, then parallely start trading in stock market with small amounts because learning takes lot of time.

Hi Jagan,
I am sure you would have attanded some sort of training, and worked as trainee before getting to current position in your IT job. Same is true in trading as well. You just can't start making money here without any knowledge, any experience. Even with all that, experience and knowledge, making 10k on 50k capital i.e. 20% return per month, or 240% per year. Be realistic man, do you any profession that can give u 250% return. Getting this level of return is difficult even for professional traders.

My suggestion will be to find another job, if not IT then non IT. If you have been in programming then visit sites like elance DOT com/ guru DOT com / Rentacode DOT com and see if you can get some freelancing work there.

Don't take any step in hurry without analysising. Specially safegaurd your capital from variuos agents, brokers, marketing people who will promise the stars and sell their services. Cut you cost of living and manage within your new limits and spend sensibly.
There are lot of opportunities available in the world. Who know, probably you will never go back to your job again, if you can find something more rewarding.

All the best.

NO WAY DUDE!! trading is one of the toughest business around and without proper training & trading with scared money (only money that is left with you) is like A SUICIDE MISSION.....keep your head cool and look for opportunities in the job market.
I am also in the IT sector, things are bad but some companies are still hiring e.g. Cognizant, RBS and recently Barclays IT (in India....yeah!!!) etc albeit in small number but I believe things will improve very soon.....if you send me your mail id I might be able to help you...
But whatever you do just do not get involved in the market at this moment please...

first of all regret for what happened with u.
now coming to trading in mkt, i will be speaking straightforward to u.
never ever think to gamble in mkt. it is the toughest job till now. as our seniors have told u it is not easy even to earn 1000 bucks consistently with such a capital and zero knowledge(as u r a newbee)in the mkt.
so better stay away from it. ya if u want to give full justice to it then with proper knowledge only u can withstand the rollercoaster ride.
dont take in a wrong sense. it is just an advice from a good friend.
rest it is ur sweet wish
regards
Raj:)

The problem is that I have only 1 year 3 months of experience. Most of the companies I am searching for recurits people with at least 2 years of experience.
The 1 year 3 months of work I did in my company was really good.
The work was really wonderfull. I was working in IBM mainframes technology.
I came to bench before a month, because the client I was working with choosed to close their banks in United States because of huge finantial losses. so we lossed the project.
At the same time my company was planning to reduce the staff size by 20% because of the current finantial situation. So about 2000 members were laid off in a matter of two weeks. I was one among the 2000.
So with 1 year 3 months ... I dont know whre to go.... thats the problem.
Any way thank you for your valuable advice. My e-mail id is [email protected]
I will be great full to you for any sort of help or advice.

Warm regards,
Jagan.
