My experience in Mumbai, though brief on each occasion, (four times max two - three days each) was such that I keep praising mumbaikars most of the time. I just can't believe what is happening has sanction of majority of Mumbaikars, including marathi manoos. Their character show in times of adversity, such as bomb blast, mumbai flood etc. Yes it is earthly city full of crime and gory but ordinary people are as much loving as other Indians and of helping disposition.

This is the paradox of democracy that vociferous few always try to dictate terms to silent majority and sometimes succeed in creating a space where none existed.Raj thakre is in media limelight for all the wrong reasons. I still remember when Udhav was anointed success to Bala Saheb Thakre and Raj was expelled. All he is trying is to create a space in mumbai where siv sainik are dominant local force.Cost is too high for the nation, Maharashtra and Mumbai as well as for others especially Bihari and UP Bhaiyyas and so called illegal and shameless migrant who are running away from their own land instead of staying put and fighting adverse condition and rectifying the system. This had happened once to Tamils in mumbai and now see TN is better off than Maharashtra.Businesses are not going to like such strife torn and vulnerable city and can easily shift elsewhere.

Indians from other parts are also going to other countries and treated no better sometimes. But that is the cost our country has to pay for underdevelopment with developed sense of aspirations.

Well said pc Jha.
Local and migrant issue is every where and politicians try to utilise at their advantage ultimate goal for them is to increase their voite bank but realy the loss is paid in long run by the local community..

HIstorical data shows city develops from outsiders they work very hard. locals always feel they are getting their job but don't realise that they are creatiing job for self and for them also once they are gone nothing will be left.

Now you see the dirty game 5 parties BJP, Congress, NCP, Shiv Sena, MNS (created some space) all votes are distributed soon they will start dealing with each other and for allaince i will not be surprised to see new tie ups.

soon you will find religion politics some of the parties will paly a card and try to get muslim votes which are with congress by default but i am affraid as Raj is moving he might try some game to attract muslims... by giving some pro muslim speaches.
