Mumbai Sinks- TOI, how r are fellow trader frnds??

Hey guys. The rain in Mumbai has almos tanked the city. How r the trader frnds from Mumbai??

I tried connecting to a few, ut no reply?

Really just now saw the front pg of TOI ,hope everybody is OK.

Yes Swagat, It was raining like mad for two days. Many parts of this city are below the sea level ( Kings circle, Bombay Central, Chembur ...) and it gets flooded very fast as there was a high tide coupled with rains. Add to this the number of ongoing/unfinished road works, pipe laying, and other jobs by BMC, and others. Further add to this the zillion tons of plastic, and rubble and debris all over the city, and you will get an idea of what we are talking about.

Yes...position is not so bad, rain has stopped....

The low lying areas are the worst hit, with water coming into homes on the ground floor.

God help those affected.......

very few areas have ankle deep water...

not like 2 years back...that was baaaddddd!!!!!

It seems heavy rains and high tide in conjunction make a deadly cocktail.

But alls well that ends well. Being a weekend very few must have ventured out, I suppose.
