HUF status for Christians/Muslims etc

Hi All,
Why are Christians, Muslims, Parsis not eligible to form a HUF. ?. Government should make a provision for other faiths to be able to form a HUF.

Someone please explain this.

thanks

May be CUF, MUF, should be introduced but christians and muslims cannot come under Hindu undivided family. Because member of HUF should be Hindu and comes under Hindu law.

Muslims and christians have their own personal law's in regards to many aspects. Their personal laws wont allow them to open a HUF.
So dont blame the govt.

woah instead of solving you want to complicate it.

HUF should be removed.
All sheria law funds and products needs to be removed as well.

Religion has no place in finance.

We have Joint account and
for more than 2 people you can create llc or inc (corporation) if the need be, available to all religion.

go ahead explain I am all ears.
Though religion is part of it, actually it is nothing like religious favour.

You can read history of why and how Huf was introduced.
main reason was to scrap the many existing systems at that time, in diverse hindu communities across the country and to bring in one uniform system as to how ancestoral Family property/wealth and income would be treated.

But certainly some sections of hindu community would not want to be part of this. To give an example, Hindus in south india may have a different culture as how to treat family wealth from Hindus in Eastern part of India.
Its not that one section of Hindus are right or others are not. Its about vast diversity in Hindu tradition. So to bring all of them under one roof, something more should be offered and this tax exemption could be part of this. ( guess)
