Happy Independence Day

Happy Independence day to all our members.

Independence for a trader means independence from loosing periods, failures,lack of self confidence, lack of confidence in public...more than half the problems of trader members will be solved if they make consistant money in the markets. Losses give rise to mental conflicts, tensions at home, low self esteem and social acceptance.

The success in trading needs good trading method, knowing our psychology,timeframe, position sizing, discipline, MM, adequate capitalisation etc...and new members struggle with all these for a long time. I know that because I have been there....

Our members keep sharing their ideas, methods etc on all the above points but all of us know few successful traders outside this forum or some successful traders who are our members but remain silent. The reasons could be they dont want unnecessary fights, one up- manship, "I am better than all" syndrome, and they prefer not to post and waste their energies in unproductive things. Can we identify such people and let me know their area of specialisation and contacts details, I will send an invitation to them on behalf of the forum to start a thread on any of the above topics in a special area. This will be " No Tolerence Area" and any insulting, irritating, arrogant post will be deleted and the person will be given a warning...and another attempt the person will be dealt with firmly. We will assure our guests that no nonsense will be tolerated in their thread.I have been in this forum for 6 years and my experience is that such negative posts are either from guys who come to TJ for spotting clients for their services or from total negative people who dont see anything good in this world. For few such people we should not let our majority of the members suffer.

The above is an initiative to aid our struggling trader members and the people running their tips service, people who will say that they will post the calls but not post the method will not be invited to post there. The method has to be explained so that our traders benefit by experience of these successful traders.

We are open to the ideas from our members.... let us make this independence day as a beginning towards independence from all the shackles which bind the traders.

Thanks Sir, much needed initiative, albeit late, have seen lots of threads getting killed due to this nuisance, one i most regretted was by Saintsir who stopped posting his methods in his recently started thread, would have been a gem for every one.

This is not based on facts....Saint's recent threads all welcomed and there was no serious trouble there....if Saint had requested, we would have ensured that no one messes up...but Saint does not need any such protection from us...he is capable of handling such things himself , though we had kept a close watch...and I remember intervening once when needed..

Saint stopped posting in those threads on his own without making a single post on methods/actual trades ( or was it just 2-3 trades and then he discontinued...dont remember but he could not post anything significant , may be due to other committments on his time ) ...the reason could be that he is unable to devote time/energy....but it was definately not because of criticism that he stopped.

Maybe you should offer some of the existing thread owners an option to move to this special area.

Maybe you can consider giving some moderator like rights to those thread owners. e.g.
-Thread owners can prohibit some members from posting in their thread only (not a ban of user).
-posts need to be pre-approved by thread owners or designated members (volunteers chosen by thread owner). Thread owners can choose not to use this option and let all posts go through as per situation.

Seniors can think of others ideas in view of some high profile exits in the past.

Don't know if these are possible from technical and moderator/management point of view. Just some thoughts.

Good suggestions, Raghuveer, le'mme check up with tecnical and Admin to see if this is possible technically....we would not like to give these rights to all because of fear of misuse...but would experiment with some atleast who are responsible members..

i have started trading profitably after so many losing days and weeks and months.. i owe it to this forum and i do plan to start a thread to share my way of trading... devoting time to something like that is a big problem for me.. atleast for the next few months.. but i will start a thread of my own.. some day..

if it was not possible to give rights to thread owner----if he complained to moderaters about any member who misbehaved, the member has loose his right to post any in that particular thread but the post visible to all as that the member was banned in that particular thread.
this will gives all members as caution that he was banned in that thread. and no any member try to fight.

Yep, U r right. After going through that thread 'swing-trading-crude-oil', it is very easy to see single person with name RajGreenPeace(Banned )/Sonika/OMSAI causing all these nuisance but moderator kept a blind eye for long.
That's not good for TJ.

Even ST clearly know that, same person is using both ID as both male(RajGreenPeace/OMSAI) and female(sonika) to attack the member like Saint . But that member is not banned. :annoyed:
Same person attacked me and many other successful traders(TraderPK/DanPickUP.. etc) too without any reason, moderator only deleted post later.

Now lots of good members stopped posting and closed their thread due to these type nuisance caused by only few and they are present here. Many successful trader post few valuable post occasionally, but they fear to create a thread.

Presently, there is only few good members including moderator ST/Happy Singh/Pratap etc who has good helpful running thread.


Simple Solution: TJ/ST must ban the same 'Banned' person again when he/she is entering again with new ID (after identifying it). :thumb:
