Have requested to move this thread to the general chit chat section, as this topic has less to to with trading and more with politics. So do not be surprised if the thread may is moved to there.

I did go into General chit chat section b4 posting this .. but as this question is concerned with the movement of the market in the aftermath of that incident, & not a pure chit chat, I decided to post it here ..

No worries, .. members views & opinions are important & not where the thread is placed ... Thanks for ur initiative :)

The weekly chart shows weakness, add this to the masala of 2 tsp of MH17 + 1 1/2 tsp of West bank + 1 tsp of india's conditional trade terms to chinese + 1/2 tsp of our compulsion to take a firm stand against russia after the just concluded bonhomie at brazil .. stir it well & let it marinate till tomorrow morning .. cook it in low flame till 9.15am 2morrow .. it provides a perfect spicy recipe for markets to go down on monday .. things that can spoil this may be the strength in the daily charts + some good economic news like foreign reserves going up etc...

You are going to prepare good masala it seems....Now, your focus is shifting towards confusion.

News is only to book profit..not to initiate trade..see your chart to get clear picture in advance...

This is my experience...otherwise..always you will do paper trade..

1982 was some how a similar political situation in the ongoing cold war. The Russians shoot down Korean Air Lines Flight 007 and killed 269 innocent people : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_Air_Lines_Flight_007. The world was as shocked as it is today.

The Dow Jones at that time was in a down trend compare to todays uptrend http://www.fiendbear.com/bear1981.htm

Did that incident have a deeper, longer impact to the market and made it even go more down? Not atoll.: http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/historical/djia19802000.html.

After this incident in autumn, Sept. 01, 1982, the market even recovered from his down trend and went up to the next all time high: http://www.fedprimerate.com/dow-jones-industrial-average-history-djia.htm#recent-djia-close.

The bears are surely watching this sad, tragically and not needed event which was initiated from mass murders. Now if the bears in the share or any other market think they really want to take this as an other, needed opportunity for them to go for a decent meal in the current bull trend (Nifty as well as the Dow Jones), so it will be. Just join them during there meal and take out a piece from the cake. In case it is going to be a real down hunt with a few houndert of points, then you could call it a huge bear food buffet and no more just a meal. In this case eat with them as long as the bear buffet is opened. As simple as that. Take care :)

The primary trigger to initiate trade shud nd must always be analysis of the chart. So a trade must start based on TA nd not news. News can be used as the supplement. Like...taking vitamin tablets is good for health but can u only survive on vitamins ? You hv to eat your regular food (trade based on chart ) nd use the vitamins (news) as supplements. ;) :D

Thank you all for your wonderful guidance. i was imagining of a fall in market. But yes, i should not be carried away by the news. Have lost earlier on trades based on news & speculation. will have to take this attitude out my mind. will be careful .. thx again :)
