Will NIFTY hit lower circuit after election result?

I am one of lucky Trader who...enjoyed UPPER CIRCUIT.....on 2009 UPA victory...National Stock Exchange's Nifty was locked at 4308.05...up 636.40 points ... 17.33 per cent.........I am Gambler I expecting ....lower Circuit....on upcoming JUMBO events....I will take RISK of 4 lacs.......:thumb:

RajBro, Unless there is an external event (DOW tanks for example) there is no reason for Nifty to crack (my views) Nifty is finding support at lower levels. Kejriwal-AAP will get 10-20 seats max. Though an AAP supporter, I see a Modi wave. Atleast in the North, West, Central and to an extent Eastern states. South will be free from Modi wave, though BJP will make gains there as well. I think BJP will be able to form a govt. though with support of other parties, and this will be a reason for the markets to rally. I hold contrary view......

I also caught the up circuit with the help of straddle I was holding and had posted in the forum before the election results. I will take the trade decision when the election dates come near on the basis of exit polls/forecasts. Too early to think about election results....we have 2 months in between so concentrating on the March and April and hoping to do the best from the market moves.

If you want to bet BIG basis election results, be sure your formula is 100% failure free. These are all subjective opinions that we hold, and cannot be quantified. There are too many variables, too many unknowns. And we don't know how the market will react in case BJP-NDA will form the govt. with outside support. Even when the good quarterly results are declared, the market acts contrary. So better to play it in a manner, that if you lose, you don't lose big. But if you win, you win bigger. Some option strategy can help. Not much expertise in that are. Else it is a gamble, and no better than taking a bet on flip of a coin.
