How many trade only nifty...?

If one does have an edge , any good instrument would suffice , but if positive expectancy isn't there then any type of instrument will be doomed for failure in the long run.By the way its always best to diversify optimally so that risk is minimised , otherwise there is no such demerit in trading only Nifty ( I assume its Nifty futures only. but if someone trades nifty options along with futures then it is a diff ball game )

A friend Trades Nifty on Positional basis ! His result from Jan 2012 till Today's mkt close is as follows :

Total : 146 trades (78 long and 68 Short trades.)

64 loosing trades with a total loss of 2500 points
82 winning trades with a total profit of 6700 points

Total 146 trades with a Net gain of 4200 points ! This has come in 21 months , i.e. an average of just 200 points a month !

My query to all who are regularly trading Nifty : Is this result : Good, okay , bad or not worth trying !!!???

THE answer depends on "how many lots he trades to generate 200 points?"
"what is his investment?"
if he can generate this with one lot,this is more than "good"
because with an investment of 40000/=,he is earning 10000/= per month,(25%)
now u can get the answer yourself
