Please provide more information. Is this system for a trending market or volatile market? What are your exits and stoplosses? What was the standard deviation you considered in this system?

Hi,
Have you friends tested in realtime the performance of Bollinger Band, standard parameters, 13 period Simple MA, Stochastics 14, 3, 3 and 10, 90 Levels? I have observed that the price candles mostly-over 75%- bounces from upper to lower bands of BB and Stochastics below or touching 10 for buy/long trade, above 90 or near for sell/short trade. Only thing that may dampen our spirits is the amount of brokerage when the volatality is less. Good Scalping or Pivot trading with whatever small profit can build up tardy profit even when day trading. My bias is for using BB as Pivot Guide for delivery trades. But the above has helped even in profit taking during the Day Trade.

hi every one who has responded and thanks for ur words , well i will post all the regular updates of my trades as soon as possible
Hi Bill, It would be interesting if the levels are posted asap the trade is taken by you and better still asap the levels are generated. :D
Maybe a few here will actually 'gain' out of it and will also generate confidence in your strategy (not that you require it).

The biggest strength of your Strategy is the VERY SMALL number of trades. Just 120 odd trades in 5+ years. WOW... almost unbelievable.
i would call it a big disadvantage. though other necessary factors in this system is just excellent.:thumb:

Hi Biyas, Okay...but i sincerely feel that lesser number of trades is always better as that reduces overhead costs and slippage ( a big component at times). Would love to hear your side about why should it be disadvantageous.
How are you doing in your new venture?

The higher your trading frequency, the smaller your chances of having a losing month.

If you have a trading strategy that has a winning percentage of 70 per cent, but only produces one trade per month, then one loser is enough to have a losing month. In this example, you could have several losing months in a row before you finally start making profits.

In the meantime, how do you pay your bills?

If your trading strategy produces five trades per week, then you have on average 20 trades per month. If you have a winning percentage of 70 per cent, then your chances of a winning month are extremely high.

And that's the goal of all traders: having as many winning months as possible!

yes sir, everything is fine, but trading is always my 1st preference.
