How much mininifty costs if..

How much mininifty costs if I sell/buy 1 lot at market price on today closing, for example, at 5379.

Also how much money I need to cover margins in my a/c. I trade through RK Global and have a month-3month view on nifty (not an intraday trader).

Don't make it confusing, just numbers like you need xxxx amount to buy/sell and xxx for margins and xxxx to rollover.

Also how much profit I will make if say at 5379 I bought mininifty and squared off at 5400 (21 points, just for example and learning)

If you buy mini nifty lot at 5379 then you will have to maintain minimum 12000 Rs as margin money. Tommorow if nifty close @ 5200 means -179 then you will have to collect 3580 (179*20) Rs on your account to maintain margin for one lot of mini nifty.

If you square off mini nifty at 5400 (+21) then you will have profit of 21*20 = 420 rs. If your broker is charging you 0.04% then brokerage will be around 110 so you will have net profit of 420-110 = 310 rs.
