Namaste all,
I am quite interested to know whether there is a RBI restriction on NRIs for online trading in F&O. I live in Dubai and I approached ShareKhan regarding this and they tell me that it is not possible to do online trading. I can however do phone trading.

I approached Geojit, and they told me that online F&O trading was possible. I'm completely confused. Do any of you have any idea on this?

I have the following with me now:
a) NRE + NRE-PIS account with Axis Bank
b) NRO + NRO-PIS account with Axis Bank

What more do I need to have, in order to start online F&O trading?

Did you check with ICICI kind of brokers?

Thanks for your reply. I did check with ICICIDirect.com and they do provide online F&O trading. Sharekhan doesnt though.

being a NRI, you cant do trading. you can invest though
