Default The 1:30 effect

Has anyone noticed this? The nifty dips between 1 PM to 1:50PM and then recovers towards the end. It bottoms out at around 1:30. Off course it doesn't happen everyday but recently started to happen more frequently.

Yes! I've been noticing this for several months. For the last few days its clear cut. 1:30pm to 2:00pm works like an inflexion point of the trading day. It's not always a dip it can also be a fall depending on the days market prior to that time. The trend of the 2nd half of the day starts showing its hand at about this time and the effect really gets accelerated from 2:30pm.

Time for European markets to open and then intra traders have to settle down their positions, thats why it moves so quickly that time even at morning till 10.30
