Hi,
I am new to Future trading. I read some materila on this. But still I have some basic questions to ask.
1) Let's say I will buy a future @100 and after 10 days if it moves to 130. Can square off my position before expiry date.
2) How much margin amount required for single stock future.

Hi,
I am new to future trading. I hope you people can help me. I have a doubt.
For example I bought a stock future @100. Then next day onwards it started moving downwards. And after 5 days it became 80. I do not want to square off. I want to wait upto expiry date. In this case what will happen to my position. Do I need some extra money or margin. Or some loss will be there before expiry day.

Please help.
Regards,
param777

Dear Mr Param

Yes you can wait till the last thursday of a month. But pls keep in mind you have to pay daily the difference between your purchase price and price prevailing at the time of closing hours. If you are a online trader you have keep your money in your account or if you are with a broker they will demand the cheque. This goes till you square off your position.suppose after few days if the selling price is higher than the price you bought you will get refund what u have paid earlier days for that particular trade.
