I am sure that you have squared up your long position and gone short at 5172 according to Mr. Vinod's guidance.... with a SL of 5145(that is for today)

Dear Bhulokeshwar

10 points is not compulsory, when you have access to the market throughout the market hours, in tht case you can just watch the supp/res... if it is taken out and NF trades below it for 2-3 mins(according to Mr. Vinod) then you can go take postion at tht market price...
Else, if you just place orders in the morning and have got others work to do... then it is advisable to place orders 10 pts below support/10pts above resistance...
This is because if you have noticed, many times the market has breached the supp/res levels, but has immediately bounced back... so this 10pts system is just to ensure tht one does not get into a false brkout/brk down...

I hope I have cleared your doubts... if I am wrong then i request Mr. Vinod to take the trouble to guide...

Good that you went short... as you can see tht the profit(in the current trade as of the closing) is good 182 pts so enjoy the ride...

Good Luck

Regards
