Did i said any thing bad about vinodji or this thread , i just pointed some thing which i saw in last some time and if u think that is a very bad thing then i will pray for ur mind .

Their is difference between targeting and pointing , hope that u may learn with time

Hi Guys
I have just started and am not completely aware of the system u are following.. is some Partial profit booking advised ... like today we rallied almost 150 points from our buy price .. do I would have booked some ..

vinod your suggestion will help

If u want safeguard the profit ( 139 points * 50=6950), u can buy put option of 4500 of nifty for Rs 127*50=6350 ,but upside will be capped.but u can wait for still 50-60 points gain.

Current position : LONG (at 4380 on 02/09/2008)

Nifty Fut Closed at : 4516.80

Profit/Loss in current trade : +136.80 (as per last closing price)
Net Profit/Loss since thread started : +2091.80 (1955.00+136.80)

Support : 4391
Resistance : 4528

Hold LONG position with SL 4391. If trades below 4391, exit LONG & go SHORT with SL 4528.

Profit/Loss in current trade : +76.05 (as per last closing price)
Net Profit/Loss since thread started : +2031.05 (1955.00+76.05)

Support : 4389
Resistance : 4481

Hold LONG position with SL 4389. If trades below 4389, exit LONG & go SHORT with SL 4481.

Dear Vinod ji,

Tue 02/09/2008 - nifty closing was 4516.80
Thu 04/09/2008 - nifty closing was 4456.05

That made a difference of minus 60.75 in our long positions.
Am I correct? Kindly check it out.

sir, pls calculate in this way, we were long from 4380, today closed at 4456, so today as per closing basis we are in pft of 76 pnt, and u made calculation in this way if i am nt mistaken--- (4516-4456)=-(60) pnt based on last two days closing diffrnce, bt starting from ur entry position we r in 76 pnt pft
