You can sell intraday.
Calculation is all correct.
but remember if it is turn round you will loose the same amount. The margin call will depend on the rate at day end if the lot remain with you.

When it is said buy oct, nov, future of particular scrip and hold of 2-3days, what does that mean? Even in that case the above calculations are true?

what is the margin amount to be paid for the lot? does it vary by scrip to scrip?

Oct, Nov and all are the expiry period..all futures contract expires on the last Thrusday of every month..Thus October expiration would expire on the last Thursday of October. Depending on the time period for which you want to take an exposure in future contracts, you can place buy and sell orders in the respective contracts.

Pricing of the contracts varies from month to month i.e. if you select the exipiration of NOV in OCT then u have to pay more to buy a contract due to interest and cost of carry factor.

Margin amount varies from scrip to scrip... you can ask your broker to provide you with FnO Margin Details.

one more small ques

The margin call will depend on the rate at day end if the lot remain with you.

means if we sell in intra day with profit before closing of day profit will depends on closing price??? ulimately after selling lot will not remain with us . wat about profit with out holding the lot at days end???
