Dear Fellow Traders:
Today the 4th. out of the 10 Nifty Heavyweights which constiture 52% of the NIFTY only INFOSYSTCH & RCOM were gainers. All the Asian Indexes were losers. Except for the FTSE 100 all the European Indexes were trading lower at 11.20 GMT. The NIFTY Spot has closed at 4395 (-18). Hence it has failed to progress in gains from Fri. the 1st. This would indicate that it would now again lose points ( about -80 to -100) in a day or two. However, short-selling the NIFTY would not be profitable as you may only recover the brokerage. Shortselling July FNO of BHARTIARTL, SBIN, HDFC, INFOSYSTCH,ITC, may be considered. Best of luck!!! j.

Dear RameshKR,
Appreciate your work - I hope you can continue to inspire and guide us through this forum as often as possible. Looking forward to your next post. I have a feeling that NIFTY is likely to get a +ve trigger in a day or two, primarily on account of a dip in Crude Oil prices. My gut feeling says we'll cross 4500 Nifty by 07 Aug or 08 Aug 2008. Then we're in for a sharp correction (possibly overnight gap down), right down to 4100 levels in mid Aug or so before settling down around 4200 or so. We still are in a Bear market with all the attendant -ve cues and this is a pullback rally covering 0.608 of the Fibonacci levels drop from 5300 to 3800. Lets see how it turns out.
