Dear Members,
Does anyone have experience in using Metastocks. What are the charges. I heard it is around 80000+70000 =150000. Is it worth. Viratech people say everything is automatic. i.e entry, stop, target etc. Is it reliable and worth. Please let me know where can I lean day trading practically. Please reply or post here

Hi Ash and members,
I've been using tt5 from 5paisa for more than a year now. They provide realtime tick data of stocks, futures and options which you can convert to any time bar you like from 1m to 60m. They also provide charting facility with it and you can have your choice of stocks, futures & options on the same or separate watch lists as you like. However, I've found 2 limitations: 1. the indicator list is confined to emas, smas, roc-abs & %, rsi, macd and Boll Bands. 2.the data & charting is for current day only; hence, it is very difficult to develop a perspective with respect to prev day(s). Apart from these 2 limitations I'm quite satisfied with the s/w. Laksh

Hi ,
I think this thread has stretched too far without reaching any definite conclusion. As per My limited knowledge on software the options available for getting real time data are: 1. Use terminal software provided by your broker (like IB, Kotak, etc) 2. You can use software like TradeStation, e-signal, etc. Which provide you with the software and own data feed. 3. Use software like amibroker, fibotrader, metastock,etc , to which you can insert external data feed. My experience so far has been with e-signal. So cant comment on anything else. Esignal and tradestation charges you a monthly fee for using the software and a exchange subscription fee. Regard Stumper

DEAR FRIENDS, I AM USING STOCK FUTURE AND NIFTY FUTURE POSITIONAL CALLS FROM www.wealthygains.com AND I GOT GOOD RETURNS FROM THE SAME. ALL THERE CALLS ARE VERY HIGH FREQUENCY AND GIVES GOOD MONEY IN 1-3 DAYS TIME. THEY GIVE MORE EMPHASIS ON LIMITED TRADE AND MORE OF PROFITS. ALSO THERE IS GOOD FOLLOW UP BY THEM.
