what is Increase/decrease in stock?

Can someone explain with example what the below 2 items means
Increase/decrease in stock
Purchase of Traded Stock

I am not able to understand with the business point of view. Please explain me with the below company point of view.

Purchase of traded stock is when the company buy back its own stock from the share market. So the number of shareholders decreases consequently EPS increases for the remaining share holders.

The company which you linked, I did not see any share buy back in its financial statements.

Increase / decrease in stock is comparing the opening balance of stock in hand as on 1st April of the Accounting year with the closing balance of stock in hand as on 31st March of the Accounting year and arriving at the net figure. If closing balance is more, this net difference will be treated as earnings for the company. if it is less, this net difference will be treated as expenditure for the company.

Purchase of traded stock - If a company, in addition to manufacturing, buys and sells some items, the cost of the goods purchased for resale is taken as purchase of traded stock.
