Hi Friends,

I was computing market capitalization of Axis Bank from money control site.

As per my knowledge:
Market Capitalization = Closing price of share * Number of outstanding shares

Market Capitalization of Axis bank as per the above formula:
= 1128.9 * 41.055 = 46346.9895

But as per the Money control the market capitalization for axis bank is 46558.41

I wanted to know where I've gone wrong. why I'm not getting the correct value.

Kindly help me,

There could be error in number of shares outstanding.
The total number of shares - 41.233
