Dear BhargavHalani,

Please answer the below questions for the benefit of yourself and people considering investment and portfolio.

Why would you want to invest in highly volatile stocks for a horizon of 2- 3 years when there are other less volatile investment opportunities ?

Why would you want to do this by yourself why not a SIP with a mutual fund ?

Every year stocks shows 52 week low and 52 week high.

What if you are caught at a high price ?

How are you going to pick the best stocks ?

Are you conversant with Fundamental analysis and technical analysis ?

How are you going to hedge your portfolio ?
If so how to do that ?

What is the return on investment you are expecting ?

Please contact Sarvant ji or Anant ji(Asanavale) in this regard. They will be able to guide you better.

i think mid-cap and small cap companies have fallen more while compared to large cap companies. so, select the companies with lower p/e ratio and accumulate them. if there is further fall, (if you are confident of the scrip), accumulate further and average you rate. this will surely give you a good return in long term.

It really depends on how long you are willing to hold.
If you are willing to hold 1-3 or 3-5 years no matter how low the stock price falls, sure go ahead and invest.
Please don't pick a stock because your best friend just got a hot tip from his uncle on Dalal Street.
Aim for the long term in investment. If you feel confident on your ability to pick stocks, and you know what I mean when I say P/E Ratio, Current Ratio, and Liquidity (without looking at Google :) ) , go ahead. Otherwise as like JK said, go for an SIP in a good mutual fund.

We are in downtrend and market could bottom around 4200-4500 in few months time. Thats the time to invest because 4200-4500 will never ever come back once the fresh bull run starts.

KF,

Now what if the Level mentioned doesn't come....????

Investing is an entirely different ball game and requires Staggered Accumulation... not waiting eternally for Levels... to show up at the doorstep
