Hi, traders i'm new to Share Trading, but i don't have an idea where to start with. i need suggestions on books i can read on stock market.
Though i'm clear with basic terminologies in Stock market and have a demat account too. But still i think i do not have the right mindset, Please suggest me some books for beginners which could help me understanding this market and that'll give me sound knowledge about strartegies, tools and techniques for Fundamental Analysis.

Thanks alot in advance.

Hi,

I have only very recently started to invest in stocks and have a limited portfolio. I have been told that another book by Benjamin Graham called "Securities Analysis" is a pre-read for the intelligent investor. The sixth edition of the book with a foreword from Warren Buffet is available from Mcgraw hill publication.

Hi

I came across another book in my office library. I felt a little sheepish carrying it out of the library as its a dummies book :), but perfect for me. It looks interesting. The title of the book is "Value Investing for Dummies" by Peter J. Sander and Janet Haley, Edition 2, Wiley Publishing.

The best book if you want to understand and learn on reading and interpreting balance sheets and cash flows of companies is:
Damodaran on Valuation: Security Analysis for Investment and Corporate Finance
A good all round book to have grounding in all aspects is:
Financial Management by Prasanna Chandra
