Where To Find Loan Or Debt Of a Company?

#1
GentleMen,

in order to know the Financial Condition of the Company i checked the
Financial detail that they give on NSE site.
I can very clearly see if the listed companies Profit is in negative or positive
Where they Potray Net Profit(+) Loss(-) After Taxes.

But i dont see anywhere mentioned Loan Or Liability or debt.

Or may be it is there in form of some technical term i am a ordinary person
trying to grab the financial status of a company.

Could you please Provide With the information as to where can one find the information about a company Loan And Debit Position. What Term or column in the report describes it.

because when i see the financial status, company seems to be making profit
but analysts on TV say such and such company is in debt or something and i wonder where is that mentioned on the report.

Thanking you

check out their annual financial statements / quarterly financial statements - Balance sheet entries (for liability) and P&L entries for interest paid will give you some idea about it.

In my view, it is not worth scanning thru company annual reports to trade.
Let that be the job of well paid equity research analysts or FII / DII.

There is easier way to just look at the holdings of good mutual funds.. and track only those companies. Let them go thru 1000s of reports and filter 50 companies.. and you just look at those 50 companies.
