Default Group Dissection and analysis of a company

I was wondering that if one decides to analyse a company, its a time consuming affair. But if one decides to analyse a company into groups, then it can be a lot easier done. For eg. Take a company like Tudor india. A company has a equity of 24 cr whereby the promoters holding is 84 % and the company has went for a capacity expansion plan. The company looks a interesting candidate for a fast buck. But the question is, can we hold the company with a long term perspective. So, i suggest for eg, Ram concentrates on Directors Report, Shyam on Auditors Report, Dinesh works on financial ratios, Lalit works on Financial results and so on. Then we can discuss altogather in traderji chatroom whether the company is worth picking.
This thread needs further discussion. I am a new kid in the stock market. I invite Leaders to suggest if this is possible? Please add more ideas if you can enrich this idea of "Group dissection and analysis of a company"?

yea its a very nice idea. but i think we should consider following factors.
QUALITITIVE FACTOR like..
Business Model
Competitive Advantage
Management
Corporate Governance
QUANTITIVE FACTOR like...
Customer
Market Share
Industry Growth
Competition
Regulation
AND MULTIPLE CRITERIA FOR VALUATION....
a. Intrinsic value analysis
b. Relative Valuation
P/E ration
Margins
Efficiency
c. Risk Assessment
Technical
Insider buying
Beta

Actually i am also new for all this things but hope some experts will hepl us.

Yes it very time consuming. It's not simply the balance sheet and Income statements to consider. This is the easy part. It's all those things surrounding a company where the real research comes in such as regulators, competitors, technology, labour, etc. It's a good idea to spread the work but how do you know who is giving you good information. I suggest finding your own way to analyze a company. Get good at it. Meet like minded people and exchange ideas. It will take a long time but you will learn more than just what a balance sheet is.

Great idea guys.
I always prefer to invest in a company if i am convince and did my fundamental analysis. However its a time consuming affiar. TOP down approach that is sector analysis market analsys then pick similar companies in a group and compair the stats.

but what i learned here as fundametals consume time might help investors but the traders love techincal analysis. by joining traderji i started putting more time to learn the technical analysis. As al fundamentals ultimately are reflected in the technical charts.

I will try to contribute but the key is to pick good companies.

It seems to be a great idea. As I am also a new to the market and believe that a good FA done on a company is the best way of valuing a company. Studies on different sectors in the economy is the best way to go forward, but its time consuming.
