for buying one particular company stock we should campare only P/E ratio or some other parameter....?

how we can get all financial information of company?

a collegue of mine who was asured that MF's r safe than equities lost heavily in this fall & he is murmuring that these mkts guys told me that the fundamentals of the mkts & economy r strong......

now when he lost quite a chunk.....he utters that these very guys made a funda of my funds & made me a mental....
