But within a year its now already 60+.
So there's nothing funny about any theory. SBI has all the credentials of a good fundamentally strong stock. I still believe in my theory and hope for the best to happen.

IFCI was a premier financial institution in India in the league of ICICI, and, was pushed to penny stock levels, even at Rs.60 levs, it still is. Everyone (atleast the smart money) expected it to skyrocket from that level the moment some attention is paid to it, which it started receiving - after all, it's an eyesore for the govt. Well, there ends the comparison.

Hi TheTrader,
the easiest thing to do in Stocks is to do the 'Post Mortem'

I agree with you on the postmortem. But trust me, I've recommended this stock the moment it recd attn. And, other things about the sector, govt making it easy for recoveries to Bank, Institutions, etc., In fact, the easy recoveries is the main factor for the banks to unearth the bad debts built up over a long time, and, in addition, banks have resorted to increasing the charges very steeply, which resulted in fee based operations giving substantial revenues. I'm not good in writing, so I am not elaborating on this. It is also because I hold a small qty bought long ago (very long ago, at very high price, and, did not bother because of small qty) I had been following this stock. Otherwise I would have missed this one out.
Small point - Small is beautiful - Can grow faster, if it is good. For example, Exxon or GM to double their turnover is a herculean task, if not impossible.

Hi TheTrader,
whether Small is beautiful or Big is handsome, our ultimate aim should be to make money out of it. If we can do that in short term or long term or in intraday its worth an effort.
