Hi All.
Can someone explain me how dividend payout works? I am a day trader n never bothered abt dividends... I bought 203 shares of wipro on 26-Jun n sold them all on 29-Jun. Today 23-Jul i got the dividend(amount 0f 203-Re.1/- per share). I was just holding the share for only 3 days.. So, can some one tell me when we need to purchase shares to get divdend amount and how long we need to hold? |
