Investment for Tax saving pupose

Hi,

I am new to this forum as well as in investment field.
I am a salaried person & I want to invest my 1 Lac for tax saving purpose (since a personal can invest max 1 Lac for tax saving purpose).
- Can you guys please suggest me what are the various options of investment for tax saving purpose?
