hi,
from the standpoint of consistent high ROE the following scrips are at buy levels. Amtek Auto, Maharashtra Seamless, Marico,Blue Star, Gujarat Gas,Pidilite industries and Bharat Electronics. These companies have shown Consistent high Return on Equity and the current PEratios are attractive. Can be accumulated slowly.

I have enclosed the result sheet1 and the data sheet2 for Maharashtra semmless

as you can see from the second sheet I have cut past the details from the URL http://*********/finance/equity/quot...r&duration=365 and have taken the current price DPS and EPS details to sheet 1

In the second part of the sheet2 the details are from URL for ratios http://*********/finance/equity/quot...hp?code=MYSM.B

5year EPS DPS and Book value are taken to sheet 1 (the data have a blank space which needs to be removed manually to make them work in the equations)

the year high low details are in the first page copied from URL http://*********/finance/equity/quot...hp?code=MYSM.B

If there is any split adjustment needs to be made manually,

if the above required information can be downloaded in the the sheet automatically from any source it will be great and will save lot of time in short listing

Thanks Suresh for giving the urls.

As I see from the url, only symbol name changes rest all part of URL remains the same. So to attempt to automate we need the symbols used by sify. IF it is hte same used by nse then it should be eay. Else we need to find out their logic of giving the symbol name.

Till we get to this, you can short list companies for which you want data. I willtry to automate the process of downlaoding. Meanwhile have a look at the format of data I hv attached earlier for all nifty stocks. If tht format is ok with you let me know.

Regards

Default analysis of GRASIM

Hi friends,
here is an analysis of Grasim using excel sheet by Suresh. The 2001 price datas are assumed as I couldnt get them anywhere. Rest all datas are fairly accurate mostly got from way2wealth, *****,etc. Kindly give your comments after carefully studying the sheet. Please throw light whether it is a good value buy.
