Hi Dilse,
I use metatrader platform and I have DiNa[oli's indicators to cclculate logic profit objectives, entry point and stop loss point. Can you enlighten me how the entry price is calculated? I am attaching the indicators I am using.---KK

All i can say id that forex trading is a mental game which is to be played with discipline. I am not trading with thie Di napoli indicators. neither i am in posn to tell you how to use the one u have posted.

For your info there are other versions of indicatorts like de markers which will identify the good entry and exit targets for you.
I can not asuure you for the results that they are producing but here is a screen shot for your eyes.

DilSe its a personal thankyou from my side.. your posts have really helped me learn a lot and to realize the potential and risk of this trade...

I am enjoying it man , there are people who think ........ but i am the last one to care for them.
Anyways thanks again for caring.
I am progressing step by step in my journey and the target is to be achieved in a specific time gap of 18 months or more .
As this is a total diff strategic trading plan , i do not get a trade everyday, as for this project i have identified some different rules and strategies where by i get the minimum risk entry points and that does not come up everynow and then.

infact there are so many diff set ups which guide you when to trade and at what price to buy or sell, like the one here.
But honestly speaking if one can trade with discipline a simple set up is enough for earning a right entry and exits.

Remember one basic thing " indicators are obeying the market movements , markets does not follow indicators."
It takes a lot of research and patience to learn a good tecnical strategy.
FOrex trading requires DISCIPLINE.

Hi dilse,
I wanted to know about the way to calculate entry point for DiNapoli's levels. When I plot them on the MT4 the 1 st profit objective is already met on 1 hour chart. He speaks about leading indicators which precede the market movement and not follow it after it occurs....like displaced MA., D-levels, detrend oscillator and his weakened stochastics.His levels cannot be backtested since thet are just probable logic profit objectives. However, the levels are met most of the times.
By the way, where do you think cable is going? Important day today with so many news releases....BOE interest rate and trade balance.
The chart above with Dolly system is nice to look at with all those multi-timeframe indicators.
Hey......one thing I noted about these mec hanical trading systems is they put their SL 40 pips away and take profit some 20 pips away.....probabaly to avoid running of stops by the brokers.Dirk DuToit correctly puts it as.....allow to run your losses and cut your profits....contradictory to what you learn in stocks. Because getting a short profit is more likely than hitting a stop loss that is placed far away.
The Dolly system, winning solutions system, DiNapoli's all have their risk -reward ratio of 2-3:1......the reverse of what we generally think.----KK

It was nice to go thru your journal and I need your help on few matters,
I'm a newbie and interested to trade forex. Please help me on the following topics:

1) How do I adjust my trade position such that each pip move gives a movement of US$ 0.05 in terms of paper amount? (I wish to open an a/c of US$100). What I mean is, I want value of US$0.05 per pip. How do I do it?

2) How is the services from Oanda?

3) You may have used MetaTrader4, can you plz help me with visual signal alerts on the charts?
