Dear TT2011,

As per my knowledge no indian brokers are offering forex trading, Which is against reserve bank guidelines. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Why trendline breaks are fail several times. Is it good to enter in this trend line break. Ofcourse my opinion is strictly No, even there is a chance it moves in the breakout direction. welcome the comments.

Yesterday i did a blunder trade ( against trend ) and taken huge position. Any how i tried my level best to turn the trade in to good. With market co-operation i cameout with good profits instead of heavy loss. But in this bad thing is, sofar i am not learnt to stick on my own rules and lack of some discipline( which is must for any successful trader ). Even i came out with good profits my profit percentage is dropped to 80% from 83.52%.

Total profit so far is 5,08,525/-

yare i don't know why you are wasting so much time with all this demo ....

even if you fund a small account with $500 and trade it will be a million times more useful than demo and then you will realize demo has no value other than learning the trading platform operation (which button does what) which takes a day at the max to learn.

I've seen people run demo for a year with all kinds of fantastic profits and stats only to lose it all within four months of going live.

I know this one trader who meticulously ran a demo for two years on myfxbook very carefully watching his drawdown so as to have a very smooth equity curve and some people (10 I believe) contacted him to manage his money. His account was ranked number one on myfxbook based on risk adjusted returns, returning I think 80% over that period with very little drawdown. When I asked him what he was doing eh said his purpose was to minimize drawdown by not losing money.

Its three years later and the guy has barely made any money at all on live accounts, and blown several live accounts

Trading is actually more of an emotional game, don't fall for the demo trap

Dear Aryabhatta,

Thanks for your kind advise. In my 12 years travel in trading, i lost my valuable money and precious time. Now i don't want to loose money further without improving (upto my satisfaction ) my trading style, money management & discipline. For this i have no other chance except demo trading. I have already lost 12 years time and there is no problem loosing further six months instead of loosing money alongwith time. I don't want to loose money in the learning process. One more thing if i want to start real trading i can start with 10 lakhs. But this is last chance for me
( Restriction is purely mine, No body restricted me ), if i am not succeeded i will quit trading and the markets. Even if i loose 10 lakhs, i have no problem for my bread and butter With my savings and assets.

Regarding your friend i think he may get lot of pressure and fear trading with other people funds. Due to that pressure he may take some wrong decissions that will blown their accounts.

Dear sunny1,

Thanks. As a senior you know very well trading profession takes very longer time to stabilize when compare to other professions. very rare traders (luckiest ) will grasp & win the market and knowing their strengths and weaknesses within two or three years. I am not a such luckiest & wise trader. This is last chance for me ( self imposed ).
